Spring 2008
I am proud to announce my acceptance into the T. Schreiber Conservatory intensive acting program. The program combines acting, voice, and movement, and I believe it is one of the best that NYC has to offer. The conservatory concludes with a public performance of scenes, stayed tuned for more information! The T. Schreiber Studio established in 1969, is recognized as one of the foremost professional theatre studios in New York City, devoted to the comprehensive training and development of actors in a supportive and collaborative environment. The Studio’s ongoing classes are integrated into its annual season of productions, allowing the accomplished faculty to guide the growth of each artist from classroom to stage. The faculty of the Studio is composed of working professionals and established artists in theatre, film, and television, under the direction of Terry Schreiber.
I worked background on this film, shot in Perryville, MD. The film's release date is August 29, 2008. It opened to good reviews at the Tribeca Film Festival, and won three awards at the Solstice Film Festival. I am proud to be a part of this MD-grown experience! For more info:

I had an amazing experience remounting OM: Objects in Motion this
summer! OM performed to rave reviews in this year's 2008 Capital
Fireworks Puppet Fest. The festival was presented by the Puppeteers of America.
OM is a collaboration between puppet director Colette Searls and choreographer Doug Hamby: a funky variety show where characters spring from garbage bags, plastic wrap, and recycled paper to unleash their inner groove in vignettes of whimsy. In short episodes, OM transfigures the ordinary with a collage of music ranging from Mozart to Jazz to Hip Hop. Exploring the unexpected, lyrical and humorous, OM puts four puppeteers trained in modern dance behind and among the animated objects to explode physical boundaries. OM was originally developed and presented at UMBC in September 2005. OM is called "innovative and brilliant"-
Puppets and Stuff.com I also developed an original piece for the Emerging Artist Theatre Festival "Laugh Out Loud", which featured various solo, clown and puppetry acts. The piece, "Emergency Use Only", based on bored strangers creating puppets on the subway using their personal objects, received amazing feedback. This is the first of many puppet cabaret style mini-performances I hope to produce in New York City.
